Lazy Mutinado is a steady flame, a clever batch of dead ahead rockers for those of us who still believe that getting there is half the ride. heads or tails, with enough ramblin’ ear candy to make a deaf man smile, the dying embers cunningly spare the hope and curiosity that there still may be a handful of gold down hiding in the wreck!

Whether they were carved on a bar stool or rusted to a dime, the tunes on Mutinado are testament that great songs can still speak for themselves. With the awarding winning Innocent Victim leading the charge, The Embers leave no stone unturned and if the lovesick Spiders ain’t got your tongue, or you dont loose a few teeth listening to Down The Line or Mexico, then pullin’ up last in true almiranta fashion is the pint waving Lazy Friends, a drifters ballad to friendships and the duty of time, definitely one of the finer tracks on the album,
Recorded at the Woodshop Studios on Vancouver Island, Lazy Mutinado chronicles the adventures and sometimes mis-adventures of an overly observant songwriter. Backed by the finest, un-jaded and true, Pender threw his ten song jukebox into the fire and with history watching and patiently waiting....
The Dying Embers were born.
